MDF board are wooden products which come from the woodfiber ironing with addition of organic compounds and hard material, in the presence of high pressure and temperature. It is a material with homogeneous density and composition in the entire section, thanks to what it has excellent machinability of mechanical cutting process.

MDF-Medium Density Fibreboard- is a medium dense wood fiber board. It is a basic material for the production of furniture and articles of interior finishing, such as decorative strips, wall panels, coffers, as well as for the production of carpentry articles, like door. Due to the effects of the surface they are suitable for finishing by covering with thin melamined films, varnishing and gluing with an artificial or natural veneer.

Particleboard is a three-dimensional wooden material with a polished surface, which is the result of compressed particles in the conditions of high temperature and pressure, with the use of binders from urea – formaldehyded resins. The inner layer is made of thicker particles while the outer layer of very fine and thin particles.

Thanks to above the area is characterised by low roughness and high surface pick resistance.

The particleboard is a basic material intended for the production of furniture. Besides, it is perfectly suited for the use as a material for:

  • floor covering and isolation of the interior
  • board partitions
  • a base for the production of table tops, window sills, wall panels, flooring

Thanks to the advantage of the surface it can be finished by laminating (covering with thin melamine foils ), varnishing and gluing by an artificial and natural veneer.

The raw fire-retardant board MDF

The raw fire-retardant board MDF called Euroclasses is in accordance with applicable European standards in Poland

The flame-retardant hardwood is distributed by SunWood and has the B-s2 certificate of Euroclass, d0. This means that the product has been classified in B Euroclass and satisfies the most stringent requirements for subclass s2 (minor release of smoke) and d0 (no flaming droplets).

The raw fire-retardant board , which satisfies the requirements of Euroclass (B), is variously called. The following terms are most often met:

  • non-combustible board
  • hard ignitable board
  • hard flammable board
  • non-ignitable board
  • fire hardened board
  • fire-resistant board
  • refractory board

APPLICATION:

  • construction
  • the cores of doors requiring the combustibility class
  • furniture production
  • as a base for finishing (covering with laminate- included in our offer) of decorative boards used in the production of furniture or interior design in public buildings.

HIDROFLAM

HIDROFLAM ® is the only particleboard on the market with the density of 750 kg/m3 , which combines several following characteristics:

  • fire resistance (non- ignitabilty) B-s2, d0
  • high temperature resistance: up to 700 ° c
  • moisture-resistance V313
  • load carrying capacity of P5 according to EN312.

HIDROFLAM ® is a building board (constructive) for the use in wet conditions and with a non- ignitable requirement. Hidroflam is a construction board, which has the properties of OSB 3 and additionally is a non-ignitable nature from the B-s2, d0 class. Its advantage is a smooth polished surface that allows the improvement of the surface by covering with laminate, veneer or melamine. It can also be used as a floor to cover with artificial panelling.

Hidroflam is also widely used in the construction of public buildings.

Light particleboard

Light particleboards offered by SunWood – ultralight – made of selected particles from poplar plantation are very easy to process, they do not cause blunting of cutting tools, and raw material itself does not have any dirty elements such as: nails, shrapnels, etc.

Apart from its exceptional lightness and high technical parameters, the advantages of the ultralight particleboard are: a smooth surface, which allows to use thin paper, or bright colour, which enables a bright veneer application.

Ultralight veneers are found in thicknesses from 16 to 60mm in the format of 4200 x 2070mm

The boards are packed in about 5 m3.

APPLICATIONS:

  • in construction – the door industry, the market stalls construction and light partition walls
  • in furniture – parts of furniture, countertops, counters, racks, shelves and fronts requiring weight reduction.
